Unicenter Service Desk Administrator
Duties:
Federal Client in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma seeks a highly motivated and experienced Unicenter Service Desk Administrator to join its talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily administration of an existing implementation of the CA Unicenter Service plus Service Desk in a CA tool centric environment supporting several thousand users.
Skills:
- Day to day administration of the USPSD tool and its supporting database.
- Customization of the USPSD tool based on customer requirements.
- Support integrations with other products, such as NSM, RCO, SDO, AMO, etc.
- Support USPSD instances in both test and production environments.
- Monitor and manage operational health of USPSD servers.
- Prepare operational metrics reports from USPSD data using built-in reporting capabilities and Crystal Reports.
- Prepare and deliver USPSD training to help desk and other support staff as needed.
- Maintain USPSD users guide in support of help desk services.
- Write associated technical documentation in support of USPSD.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communications abilities, as well as an understanding of the requirements gathering process.
- Knowledge of and certification in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) would be of benefit.
- Two years' experience in the following:
- Daily administration and support of the CA Unicenter Service Plus Service Desk (USPSD) application.
- Maintaining Microsoft Windows servers, operating systems, and applications, and specifically Computer Associates products.
- Ability to query SQL databases and, in particular, familiarity with the USPSD data structure.
- Experience with developing reports using Crystal Reports.
